WATERPROOF CASE AND ELECTRONIC WATER METER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize water proof properties of a resin unit case of an electronic unit of an electronic water meter without increasing the unit case in size and cost. SOLUTION: The electronic unit 3 of this electronic water meter is provided with the resin unit case 31 including a case body 5 and a case lid 6. A bag body 7 of a flexible film material is arranged inside the case body 5. An opening edge part 73 of the bag body 7 is fused between an opening edge part 53 of the case body and an opening edge part 63 of the case lid. A sealed space 8 is formed between the bag body 7 and the case body 5. Since the case body 5 exposed to water is formed in a double structure by the flexible bag body 7, a water proofing property and a moisture proofing property of the part can be improved. Also, since the flexible bag body 7 is used, a space for setting the bag body can be small and an increase in size of the unit case can be restricted. Furthermore, since the bag body 7 is mounted with the utilization of the fusion between the case body 5 and the case lid 6, the bag body 7 can be set without increasing costs.
