DEINKING AGENT METHOD FOR DEINKING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a deinking agent for recycling waste paper capable of producing a recycled pulp having a high brightness with a small amount of a residual ink in high yield when used for obtaining the recycled pulp by carrying out a deinking treatment of the printed waste paper such as a newspaper, a magazine, a leaflet, an information recording paper, etc., according to a method such as a flotation method, a washing method or a globe digester method and providing the recycled pulp and to provide a method for deinking. SOLUTION: This deinking agent is characterized as comprising a compound represented by general formula [1], general formula [2] or general formula [3] (wherein, R1s are each an alkyl group, a hydroxyalkyl group, an alkenyl group or a hydroxyalkenyl group and the plural R1s may be each the same or different; Bs are each oxygen or a polyether group and the plural Bs may be each the same or different; and Y is hydrogen, an unsubstituted or an organic group-substituted ammonium, an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal).
