CORRECTING METHOD IN WEATHER PREDICTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a prediction error at a measurement point from affecting the whole prediction in the future when the prediction error is caused by an unexpected factor and is temporary. SOLUTION: The weather prediction system is provided with a weather prediction value acquisition part acquiring a weather prediction value covering a local point for which weather is predicted every fixed time, an actually measured value collection part collecting actual measurement data such as temperature and road surface temperature at the point, a data processing part processing the data of the prediction value and measured value, and a correcting part calculating a correction value based on these data and correcting the prediction value. In this compensation, and prediction value is corrected in such a way that it is gradually reduced (increased when prediction error is negative) so that it becomes zero after a predetermined time (convergence time), although it becomes equal to prediction error at current time.
