EARTHQUAKE DETECTOR AND EARTHQUAKE DETECTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem on conventional diagnosis that it is impossible to precisely diagnose failures in a control device including a processing circuit for processing and judging output signals from an acceleration sensor, an earthquake detector and a cable wiring between both of them or to installation equipment. SOLUTION: This earthquake detector comprises the acceleration sensor for detecting values for the characteristics of vibration and a processing circuit for processing in accordance with signals detected by the acceleration sensor and outputting the processing results as binary signals. The processing circuit has operating means for executing a series of operation in predetermined operation procedures when the signals are input as predetermined from the outside and outputting the results to the outside in sequence.
