SCREWED TYPE STEEL PIPE AND ITS WORK EXECUTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screwed type steel pipe pile and its work execution method that can (1) enlarge the applied range of the screwed type steel pipe pile of low vibration, executable without discharging soil and obtaining large tip support force, to a large diameter steel pipe pile, (2) apply a head enlarged steel pipe pile economically designed with respect to a foundation pile placed under the action of large horizontal force and bending moment from an upper construction, to the screwed type steel pipe pile at a low cost without strain in design work execution and (3) reduce the cost of the diameter enlarged part while forming structure free from stress concentration on a pile body near the diameter enlarged part. SOLUTION: This screwed type steel pipe comprises a lower steel pipe 2 having a blade 10 at the tip part or in its vicinity, and an upper steel pipe 3 larger in diameter than the lower steel pipe 2 and jointed to the upper end part of the lower steel pipe 2. The outer diameter of the upper steel pipe 3 is formed to be not larger than the outer diameter of the blade 10.
