Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for producing a charcoal or a bamboo charcoal by which a wood or a bamboo is uniformly and completely carbonized from the surface to the core in a short time. SOLUTION: A heat buffer layer obtained by using a ceramic is installed between a combustion chamber and a carbonizing vessel in a combustion furnace having an opening and closing lid from which a raw material for the charcoal can be inserted, the carbonizing vessel for storing the raw material for the charcoal in the interior, and the combustion chamber installed in the lower part thereof.
