SEAT RECLINING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any inconvenience in the returning operation of the seat- back from the forward to the stand-up position and any increased force required for the returning operation, and further prevent generation of any noise due to shaking of the seat-back when setting to the forward position. SOLUTION: The seat reclining structure comprises a lock device 8 for fixing in a desired position the seat-back 4 which is installed capable of sliding backward and forward and an energizing means 11 for energizing to slide the seat- back 4 in the direction of forward tilted position, and the lock device 8 and the energizing means 11 are structured to operate in the reclining operation area on the rear side of the stand-up position in the sliding operation area of the seat-back 4. And a holding mechanism 22 for holding the seat-back 4 in the forward tilted position is provided and the holding mechanism 22 is structured to unlock the holding of the forward tilted position of the seat-back 4 by a sliding operation force to the back side of the seat-back 4 which is larger than the holding force.
