NETWORK REPEATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent flow of excess traffic by monitoring a packet incoming from a local area network (LAN) at all times and dynamically changing the number of queues, when increase in traffic is sensed. SOLUTION: Concerning the network repeater having a physical LAN connecting part, LAN controller, traffic control part, routing processing part, WAN controller, physical WAN connecting part and FIFO(first in first out) memory for a communication packet, when the traffic control part decides that the fixed traffic quantify is exceeded, then by dynamically increasing/ decreasing the number of queues in the FIFO memory for communication packet, the load of the network can be reduced.
