Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic catalog system which uses a network to simultaneously obtain a moving picture catalog and a still picture catalog related to it and which can communicate with a call center in two ways. SOLUTION: An electronic catalog is acquired into a terminal device 14 through a network 14 from a database 11 provided with a video server 11 where moving picture catalog information is accumulated and a file server 12 where still picture catalog information is accumulated. The terminal device 14 simultaneously displays a moving picture catalog and a still picture catalog synchronized with it on a display screen. The display screen is provided with a key to directly call a call center 16, and the terminal device 14 can communicate with the call center 16 in two ways when a user wants to make inquiries about the electronic catalog.
