WORK DETACHING DEVICE OF PLANE LAPPING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work detaching device capable of gently loading a work on a stone in a specified attitude and coping with the wear of the stone. SOLUTION: This work detaching device 14 comprises a lift mechanism 36, a lift loader 40, a clamp jig 42 and a locking mechanism 43. The clamp jig 42 further comprises a clamp mechanism 61 for holding work W1. The clamp jig 42 is put on the lift loader 40. The locking mechanism 43 further comprises a positioning pin 51 for positioning the clamp jig 42 relative to the lift loader 40. The lift mechanism 36, when lowering the lift loader 40 to a stone 11, releases the constraint of the clamp jig 42 by the locking mechanism 43 by further lowering the lift loader 40 by a specified distance from a position where the work W1 rides on the stone 11 and the lowering of the clamp jig 42 is stopped.
