EQUIPMENT TO WHICH MEMORY CARD IS APPLICABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment to which a memory card is applied where a control function for memory card with confidentiality protecting function can be changed by external information, without being analyzed readily by a third person. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a first programmable logic part 8 for storing enciphered information on a memory card 7, while adding a confidentiality protecting function to the card 7 and for transmitting information with secrecy protected on the memory card 8 to the outside after enciphering, a second programmable logic part 13 having a function for deciphering enciphered information for program change received via a communication line 4 and a programmable logic data write circuit part for writing and changing the program of the first programmable logic part 8, on the basis of the deciphered data for program change and the memory card control function with confidentiality protecting function is changed from a data managing and distributing center 5 via the communication line 4, without being easily analyzed readily by the third person.
