Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact pointing device with enhanced usability that can be embedded in PC, mobile telephone, etc. SOLUTION: By having a mobile unit moving within the fixed range, a pointing device controls movement of a pointer on a display screen. An electric signal generated in sensing that the above mobile unit reaches the end of the movable range allows continuous or intermittent movements of a pointer on a display screen even in the event that the mobile unit comes into a standstill at the end.
