IMPROVED GROUND STRUCTURE OF SANDY EARTH LAYER AND IMPROVING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground structure and the improving method therefor capable of securely preventing deformation of a sandy ground layer and preventing liquefaction of the layer by improving a driving method while retaining advantages of the driving method of reinforcing members rather than the conventional drain method. SOLUTION: In the improved ground structure in which a plurality of reinforcing members are driven in a sandy ground layer, the reinforcing members have a flexible long tabular shape and a plurality of members are driven into the sandy ground layer at an equal distance so that the breadthwise wide faces are put opposite to each other or crossed at right angles and the lower end of the members are fixed into a non-liquefaction ground and further the upper end is restricted.
