Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable planting mat for raising a seedling capable of inexpensively and simply being produced, good in handleability when transported or operated and having biodegradability. SOLUTION: This biodegradable planting mat is composed of a vegetable granule and a conjugated fiber composed of a high-melting polylactic acid-based polymer and a low-melting polylactic acid-based polymer having >=20 deg.C lower melting point than the high-melting polylactic acid-based polymer and formed by making the low-melting polylactic acid-based polymer occupy at least a part of the surface of the conjugated fiber, adhereing the vegetable granules by melting or softening the low-melting polylactic acid-based polymer and uniting them as a whole.
