Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a pitch of partition paper variably to be optimum for the state of indoor and outdoor air or the speed of ventilation so as to make the stacked body of an element exert the proper performance thereof, considering that a narrowed pitch of the partition paper of the stacked body of the element causes an increase of a pressure loss, although the narrowing is preferable for improvement of the efficiency of heat exchange. SOLUTION: This total enthalpy heat exchanger unit has a structure wherein the stacked body of the element is so constituted as to have elasticity in the stacking direction, and has a pressing mechanism for extension and contraction in the stacking direction. A dynamic seal mechanism is provided in sliding parts of four corners of the stacked body and a fixed frame body so as to prevent leakage of air. As a result, the stacking height of the element is changed any time during the operation of the unit, following external conditions, and the pitch of the partition paper is made variable to be optimum.
