AGENT SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING CONSTRUCTION OF E-MAIL SERVICE SYSTEM AND ITS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the construction of an E-mail service system for arranging data in a database. SOLUTION: An agent system for supporting the construction of the E-mail service system is provided with a means to be started when an E-mail is received in a main box, to take-out the E-mail from the mail box and to extract a processing request described in the E-mail, a means for translating the extracted processing request into a language for performing access to the database by referring to a change rule dictionary and giving the translated processing request to a database managing system, a means for receiving a processing result performed on the database in accordance with the translated processing request from the database managing system and editing the processing result by an E-mail form by referring to the change rule dictionary and a means for transmitting the processing result edited into the E-mail form to a desired user as the E-mail. The change rule dictionary is generated by a dictionary editing system.
