Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist device for driving a steel sheet pile, being excellent in wear resistance for the driving so that it can withstand a number of times of repeated uses for economical advantages; and being also excellent in the effect of crushing the ground, increasing the speed of excavation and thus enabling improvement of working efficiency. SOLUTION: In the assist device for the driving of the steel sheet pile A, a crushing bar 4 is attached to an assisting sheet pile 2 extending along the inner surface of the steel sheet pile A to be placed, with the end of the crushing rod 4 facing the end of the assisting sheet pile 2. An end fitting 9 formed of a material with wear resistance is attached to the end of the crushing bar 4, whereby the device is excellent in the effect of crushing the ground and the strength of the end portion of the crushing bar 4 is greatly enhanced.
