Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retarding synthetic resin emulsion which shows excellent flame retarding property and contains only a little of free and volatile formaldehyde. SOLUTION: A fire retarding synthetic resin emulsion is obtained by mixing 10 to 300 pts.wt. of ammonium polyphosphate coated with a condensed resin of one or more compounds selected from urea, thiourea, ethylene urea and ethylene thiourea, melamine and formaldehyde with 100 pts.wt. of a synthetic resin emulsion.
