Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain diffusion of Na ion from the inside of the substrate to the electron emitting section and to prevent deterioration of the electron source characteristics by preventing metal ion from diffusing from the wires to an uppermost surface of the SiO2 layer or an electron-conductive oxide layer at the same glass frit junction temperature at vacuum forming in the picture display device. SOLUTION: The electron source comprises a substrate, an antistatic film provided on the substrate, a plural number of electron emitting elements 76 laid on the antistatic film and metal-contained wires 73 connecting the electron emitting element 76. The electron emitting elements 76 are provided with a conductive film 4 including those on the electron emitting section laid on the antistatic film and are connected with the conductive film 4 and the wires 73 through a conductive material 77 cutting off the movement of the metal contained in the wires 73 to the conductive film 4. |
