Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient and convenient medical information processing system with high security, a terminal and an application server. SOLUTION: In this medial information processing system constituted of an application server 12 on which a medical information processing application is loaded and a communication network 11 and plural terminals 101-10N, an application server 12 is provided with a virtual terminal control part 23 for interfacing a medical information data base 24 for storing medical information and the terminal 10, and the terminal 10 is connected through the virtual terminal control part 23 to the application server 12, and the plural terminals connected to the application server 12 are allowed to simultaneously and independently process the medical information stored in the medical information data base server 24, and the terminal is allowed to control an input and output device locally connected to the terminal through the application server.
