Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing device and a method of manufacturing the bearing device capable of providing a stable thrust dynamic pressure by eliminating the warpage of the thrust plate 5 by press-fit to make uniform a clearance between a thrust plate 5 and a fixed side dynamic pressure bearing part in a dynamic pressure bearing device comprising a rotating shaft and the thrust plate 5 installed in the direction orthogonal to the rotating shaft and forming a thrust dynamic pressure bearing part and formed by integrating the rotating shaft with the thrust plate 5 by press-fit. SOLUTION: The thrust plate 5 is formed integrally to the rotating shaft by press-fit, and a relief part 54 for absorbing an axial stress at the time of press-fit is formed at the press-fit part of the thrust plate or the press-fit part of the rotating shaft circumferentially at least at two positions.
