Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable using of a coating suspension having a high solid substance content and make the position of a coated edge part inside a passage highly reproducible, sufficiently irrespectively of the cell density of a carrier. SOLUTION: The carrier is loaded starting with the lower end face by the filled volume of the coating suspension which is measured so that the carrier is loaded only upto the previously prescribed height of a part of the length L of the carrier. Thus the excess coating suspension is removed downward and a desired coating amount of the suspension is made to remain in the carrier.
