FOLDING KNIFE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To incorporate neatly parts including blades 4 and 5 in a holder 1 by a simple structure comprising a smaller number of part and rotate smoothly the blades 4 and 5. SOLUTION: The blades 4 and 5 are supported turnably at the front end 1a and the rear end 1b of the holder 1 having opposing grip plates 2 and 3 and can take a use condition P in which they are projected from storage clearances 9 and 10 between the grip plates 2 and 3 and a nonuse condition in which they are stored in the storage clearances 9 and 10. A partition 6 performing also the function of a conventional back to be engaged with and disengaged from the blades 4 and 5 is provided in the grip plates 2 and 3 of the holder 1, and spacers 7 and 8 are provided between the grip plates 2 and 3 and the partition 6. The spacers 7 and 8 set properly the width W of the storage clearances 9 and 10 to suit the thickness T of the blades 4 and 5.
