Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for procurement which can procure and feed raw materials to a manufacturing stage in proper timing without carrying a large stock. SOLUTION: Once a sales department 101 receive an order, a factor 100 inquires (orders) the whole cloth of a supplier 300. The supplier 300 manufactures the whole cloth immediately after receiving the order and warehouses it as a distribution center 200. When the factor 100 indicates delivery, for example, on the day before the manufacture, the supplier 300 instructs the distribution center 200 to ship it and the distribution center 200 delivers the held whole cloth to the supplier 300. At this time, the distribution center 200 ships the whole cloth after sticking a bar code seal indicating the lot of the production included in the delivery instruction on the whole cloth. Consequently, the receiving operation at the factor 100 is simplified.
