Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition having excellent stability with time and sense of use, capable of finely dispersing an oily component such as a silicone compound, etc., into the composition. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a surfactant selected from an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant and a nonionic surfactant, (A) a cationic surfactant, (B) a higher alcohol having >=45 deg.C melting point, (C) a polyglycerol fatty acid ester having 7 HLB and preferably (D) an oily component. A liquid crystal phase is formed from the component (A) and the component (B) and the component (C) and, if necessary, the component (D) are kneaded with the liquid crystal phase and then mixed with an emulsion forming water phase containing the surfactant to produce the objective detergent composition of O/W type emulsion type.
