Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polydimethylsiloxane compound with a peroxyester group usable as, a polymerization initiator for a vinyl monomer comprising the compound as an active ingredient, and a process for producing a vinyl polymer, wherein the compound has a relatively low decomposition temperature and is able to produce a polydimethylsiloxane block-copolymer. SOLUTION: The polydimethylsiloxane compound with a peroxyester group represented by the formula (I), the polymerization initiator comprising the compound as an active ingredient and the process for producing a vinyl polymer are provided.
