ROTARY FURNACE BED FURNACE AND SCREW FOR DISCHARGING REDUCED IRON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary furnace bed furnace in which removing/setting work of a screw for discharging reduced iron can be facilitated. SOLUTION: Through holes for passing the spiral blades 42 of a screw 4 for discharging reduced iron are made in the opposite side walls of a thermal insulation housing 2a constituting a part of the furnace body 2 of a rotary furnace bed furnace 1. The through holes are closed, respectively, by inner and outer cover members 8, 9 fixed removably to the rotary shaft 41 of the screw 4 for discharging reduced iron. An inner screw support 10 is disposed at an outer position on the inner circumferential side of a filter bed 3 and an outer screw support 20 is disposed at an outer position on the outer circumferential side of the furnace bed 3. The screw 4 for discharging reduced iron is drawn out from the furnace body 2 and set in the furnace body 2 through the through holes using these inner and outer screw supports 10, 20.
