CONSUMPTION ENERGY-REDUCING DEVICE OF AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for controlling power consumption and preventing the service life of an air conditioner from decreasing, even if the temperature difference between an indoor temperature and the set temperature of a heating-cooling combination appliance is equal to or more than the capacity of the heating-cooling combination appliance, and indoor air is leaking, in the air conditioner. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with the heating-cooling combination appliance, an operation control part for controlling the operation of the heating-cooling combination appliance, and an indoor temperature detection part. The air conditioner automatically corrects the set temperature to a compensation set temperature near the indoor temperature at set time, or changes the length of the set time according to the level of the difference between the indoor temperature and the set temperature or between the indoor temperature and the correction set temperature, or automatically changes the value of the correction set temperature and the length in the set time, to reduce consumption energy or report the state, if the indoor temperature does not reach a desired set temperature within a specific set time.
