Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing ammonium polyphosphate having type II crystal form, excellent in heat resistance, fluidity and manifesting a low viscosity of water dispersed slurry, without using a complicated equipment and process. SOLUTION: This method is to manufacture type II ammonium polyphosphate by dehydrating and condensing a phosphoric anhydride and ammonium phosphate at 140-330 deg.C while agitating and mixing in the presence of ammonium gas, and 0.05-4 wt.% of a triazine compound based on total stock amounts is added at a moment when a molar ratio of the ammoniacal nitrogen/phosphorus of the reaction product of the phosphoric anhydride and ammonium phosphate reaches 0.85-1. |
