PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a noncontact ink ejection ink jet recording system that it is difficult to enhance the resolution and the speed because a nozzle is used at the time of ejecting ink when the ink jet recording system is employed in order to solve the problems of a color copy system adapting a conventional electrophotographic system that reduction of size is difficult because of a large number of steps in print process and image shift or color mix occurs because images of different colors are developed on the same photosensitive body while being superposed. SOLUTION: The recorder comprises means for irradiating a recording matter with light to form an image of the recording matter, an optical means, and a recording head for ejecting ink by irradiating light wherein the optical means employs a recording unit arranged to introduce light from the means for irradiating the image of the recording matter to the recording head thus realizing a high definition high quality copy.
