OUTLET GUIDE OF ROLLING MILL ON HOT-ROLLING LINE FOR BAR AND WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently uniformalize the temperature of a rolled stock within a rolling mill train with simple equipment without raising heating temperature in a heating furnace to prevent the generation of the heterogeneous structure of material and surface flaws due to the drop of the surface temperature of the rolled stock especially in rough rolling. SOLUTION: In the outlet guide which is fixedly placed on a rest bar on the outlet side of rolls, a heating device facing on the path of the rolled stock is arranged. An induction heating device for heating by the frequency of 3-20 kHz is preferable and it is preferable to constitute a part or the whole of the outlet guide of non-magnetic metallic materials. In this way, stable heating on the outlet side of the rolling mill is realized with simple equipment and the improvement of the quality of rolled products, the energy conservation in the heating furnce, the solution of the drop of yield caused by the increase of scale and the solution of the generation of flaws due to the scale are achieved.
