INTERIOR LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior lighting system for a vehicle capable of reducing the power consumption, elongating the life, and improving the reliability on wiring by reducing the man-hour for assembling. SOLUTION: This interior lighting system has a female connector 12 connected with a terminal of a wire harness 11 connected to an electric circuit at a car body side, and a male connector part 13, and the male connector 13 is composed of a connector housing 19, and a male-type connecting terminal 20 projecting inside and outside of the connector housing 19. A base case 15 is locked on the male connector 13 in a state that a light emitting element loaded-base 14 loading a light emitting diode 21 is stored in the base case 15 provided with a light emitting window 27, to form this interior lighting system 10. A base side connecting projection 20A of the male-type connecting terminal 20 is directly connected to the light emitting element loaded-base 14. Whereby the power consumption can be lowered, the life can be elongated, and the reliability in wiring can be improved by reducing the man-hour for assembling.
