Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding filler wire improved for the purpose of fusion- welding 2195 aluminum and rithium. SOLUTION: The filler wire composition is composed of an aluminum-copper base alloy containing titanium and zirconium at high concentrations and contains >=0.25% zirconium or >=0.25% titanium. The addition of titanium and zirconium reduces the cracking sensitivity in aluminum alloy welding and imparts good mechanical welding properties. The addition of silver further improves the weldability of the welding filler wire. The reduced weld cracking sensitivity increases its repair weldability when smoothing is desired. |
