Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely measure a length of a gas conduit from a specified position upto a different-diametric flow passage forming part, irrespective of a piping condition of the conduit and a confirming condition for a position of the flow passage forming part. SOLUTION: This method is a gas conduit length measuring method for measuring the length of the gas conduit C from the specified position of the gas conduit C upto the different-diametric flow passage forming part P provided in a midway of the conduit in a downstream of the specified position, and formed with a different-diametric flow passage 1 provided with a small diameter part 4 smaller than an inside diameter of the gas conduit. In the method, a moving body 6 movable inside the conduit along the conduit and precluded from passing the different-diametric flow passage is inserted from the specified position into an inside of the conduit, a flexible long body 8 is pulled in by the moving body while moving the body 6 toward the passage, and the length of the conduit is measured based on a pulled-in length of the long body pulled into the conduit until the motion of the moving body stops.
