TONER AND RESIN COMPOSITION FOR TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner having excellent low temperature fixing property and high temperature offset resistance. SOLUTION: In the toner containing at least a binder resin, a coloring agent and wax, the binder resin contains at least a hybrid resin having a vinyl polymer unit and a polyester unit. The binder resin contains at least polyvalent carboxylic acids having three or more valences or anhydrides thereof as the structural monomers. The total contents W1, W2 of the polyvalent carboxylic acid units having three or more valances and anhydride units based on the monomer units constituting the whole polyester component in the component having =10,000 mol.wt. in the THF soluble component in the toner, respectively, satisfy specified relation. The toner shows specified mol.wt. distribution by GPC of the THF soluble component.
