Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness of depth of a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with a liquid crystal display panel, a back light unit disposed on the back surface of the liquid crystal display panel and a circuit board disposed on the back surface of the back light unit. The back light unit is constituted of a light source disposed opposite to the liquid crystal display panel and a reflection plate for reflecting light from the light source to the liquid crystal display panel side. The reflection plate has a recessed surface at a part of a surface opposed to the circuit board and electronic parts are mounted on the circuit board opposite to the recessed part.
