EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR REMOTE CONTROL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment and a method for remote control which can operate plural electronic devices, is easily adaptive to the operation of a new electronic device, and is improved in operability. SOLUTION: Information for operating plural electronic devices is stored on a memory stick 7. According to the information of the memory stick 7, a liquid crystal display 3 displays keys, etc., and input operation is done on a touch panel 4. Consequently, plural electronic devices can be operated with one remote commander. The information for operating the electronic devices can be downloaded via a network. Consequently, even when a new electronic device is operated, this equipment can be easily adapted. The information of the memory stick is modified to actualize a remote commander which is adaptive to various makers and devices.
