SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for information provision which can structure relation useful to both a person who have members and an information provider. SOLUTION: In the information providing system 1 where a cooperative organization server 2 that a cooperative organization has and an information providing server 3 that the information provider which provides information for the members of the cooperative organization has, are connected through a communication channel, the information providing server is equipped with a member information database 371 which stores member information on the members provided from the cooperative organization server, a provided information database 372 which stores information to be provided for the members, a specific information selecting means 34 which selects specific information to be provided for the members stored in the member information database from the information stored in the provided information database, and a transmitting means 38 which sends the information selected by the specific information selecting means to the members of the cooperative organization directly or through a provision-destination server.
