DEHUMIDIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier wherein, when a drain tank is fully filled with water and water therein is thrown away, a float is prevented from getting out of place from the drain tank. SOLUTION: A dehumidifier is adapted such that a float 5 is provided to detect a drain tank 4 being fully filled with water, and support shafts 7 at opposite ends of the float 5 are inserted into shaft holes 9 provided in a pair of ribs 8 of the drain tank 4, whereby the floats 5 are rotatably held on the drain tank 4. In the dehumidifier, a protrusion 10 is provided on an outer periphery of the float support shafts 7 of a portion protruding to the outside from the shaft holes 9 of the drain tank 4, and a recessed groove 11 fitting to the protrusions 10 of the support shafts 7 are provided in the shaft holes 9 of the drain tank 4, whereby the support shafts 7 of the float 5 are prevented from being taken in and out if it would not be existent at a predetermined position. Further, the protrusion 10 of the support shafts 7 is previously set in a positional relation where it is not coincident with the recessed groove 11 in the support hole 9 by mounting a cover 12 on an upper portion of the float 5 of the drain tank 4.
