Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-noise type silent chain which continuously and smoothly engagable with an internal engagement surface through an external engagement surface of link teeth in the engagement with a sprocket, capable of suppressing the engagement noise of the external engagement surface and the vibration noise of the chain, and reducing the noise level of the whole chain. SOLUTION: The internal engagement surface 11 of the link teeth 10a formed on a large number of link plates 10 forming the low-noise type silent chain comprises an arc-shaped engagement starting area 11a arranged on an addendum side of the link teeth 10a and an arc-shaped engagement induction area 11b arranged on a dedendum side, and the radius of curvature Rb and the arc length Lb of the arc-shaped engagement induction area 11b are set to be larger than the radius of curvature Ra and the arc length La of the arc-shaped engagement starting area 11a, respectively.
