Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform starting and slow traveling in an automobile provided with a manual transmission and a manual clutch. SOLUTION: When speed detected by a speed sensor 14 is below prescribed speed, a gear shift position sensor 12 detects a shift to a first speed of the transmission and throttle opening detected by a throttle position sensor 13 is smaller than a prescribed value, a control by a control circuit 17 of an engine control module 7 is executed based on a clutch position detected by a clutch position sensor 11. The control circuit 17 controls engine speed of an engine 1 to target engine speed larger than that at the time of idling according to a clutch position. By only an operation of a clutch pedal, starting can be smoothly performed without stepping an accelerator pedal and slow traveling can be performed.
