Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition having a small anisotropy and capable of surely exhibiting prescribed performances of a filler and further suppressing damages to a processing apparatus. SOLUTION: This resin composition consists essentially of a resin and comprises at least one of a platy boehmite and a platy alumina. The above platy boehmite and the platy alumina have 0.5-15 μm outside diameter size and 10-100 aspect ratio and comprise at least one kind of element selected from calcium, strontium, barium and cerium. The content of at least the one element selected from the calcium, strontium, barium and cerium is within the range of 0.005-0.05 based on the aluminum contained in the platy boehmite or the platy alumina expressed in terms of atomic ratio.
