Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disklike boehmite and a disklike alumina, capable of suppressing anisotropy of an obtained resin composition to be small and certainly expressing its predetermined performance when used as a filler and further suppressing the damage of processing apparatus, provide a method of producing thereof, and to provide a resin composition having little anisotropy and capable of making the filler certainly express its predetermined performance and suppressing the damage of the processing apparatus. SOLUTION: Disklike boehmite and disklike alumina have 0.5-15 μm external size and 10-100 aspect ratio and contain at least one species of elements selected from calcium, strontium, barium and selenium. This resin composition contains at least one of disklike boehmite and disklike alumina.
