SOLUTION: This member for preventing a fishing line wound on a spool 33 of a spinning reel 30 attached to a fishing rod 20 from dropping from a line roller 43 of a rotor 32 for guiding the fishing line to the spool 33 has a fitting part 11 and a ring-shaped part 12. The fitting part 11 is fixed to the fishing rod 20 or the spinning reel 30. The ring-shaped part 12 is mounted on the fitting part 11 to be arranged ahead the rotor 32, and has a minimum internal dimension length of 80% to 120% rotation radius of the line roller 43 of the rotor 32. The fishing line played out from the spool 33 can be passed through the ring-shaped part 12.
