MOLDED ARTICLE COMPOSED OF POLYBUTYLENE TEREPHTHALATE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded article made of a polybutylene terephthalate resin suitably employed for a molded part of a large casing that requires dimensional stability, molding properties and flame retardance. SOLUTION: The molded part is obtained by injection molding of a flame- retardant polybutylene terephthalate resin composition comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polybutylene terephthalate resin having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.6-1.2 dl/g and a terminal carboxylic group content of 50 meq/kg or less, and incorporated therewith, (B) 5-80 pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin, (C) 5-80 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler, (D) 1-30 pts.wt. of a halogen-containing flame-retardant, (E) 0.5-15 pts.wt. of an antimony compound comprising as constituting elements antimony pentoxide and an alkali metal oxide and (F) 0.001-5 pts.wt. of a phosphite or a metal phosphate.
