Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent gear cutting method for hourglass-shape worm capable of excellently establishing the tool management of the gear working and the accuracy management of a worm wheel and capable of performing the gear-cutting of the worms to be engaged with inviolate helical gears having a different number of tooth with one pinion cutter. SOLUTION: When gear-cutting a hourglass-shape worm 1 of a hourglass- shape worm gear using a helical involute gear as a worm wheel, gear-cutting of the hourglass-shape worm gear 1 is performed by using a pinion cutter 2 having a cutting blade for expressing the tooth surface of the helical involute gear to be engaged with the hourglass-shape worm gear 1.
