PAGE ARRANGEMENT METHOD USING STORED PAGE ELEMENT AND DEVICE USING THE SAME METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine a plurality of page elements. SOLUTION: The page elements are divided into smaller area tiles before a storage operation that stores the page elements in a memory. Data from the page elements have meta-data with which the positions of the side elements of the page elements into the memory are described. Because data needed in combining the page elements are retrieved, developed and processed at high speed by a format used for the page elements, the combining can be performed in real time during printing. With the format used for the area tiles, mirror imaging, rotation and various other image operations can easily and fast be performed.
