Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device where instability in printed quality is prevented and a developing device where insertion error of a developer replenishing container can be prevented by preventing printing when service life of developer is exceeded. SOLUTION: In the image forming device, a device main body 1 provided with an image forming part 3 and a developer replenishing container 16 replenishing the developer along with an image formation by being loaded to the image forming part 3 to be freely attached or detached. An IC chip 31 provided on the developer replenishing container 16 with a nonvolatile memory means storing information concerning the developer replenishing container 16 and a processing means with a function to write in specified information to the nonvolatile storing means of the developer replenishing container 16 is provided on the device main body 1.
