FLOOR CLEANING COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a floor cleaning composition exhibiting excellent cleaning and antifoaming capabilities and suitable for floor cleaning by using an automatic floor cleaner or a wet vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: This floor cleaning composition is characterized in that it contains (a) 0.01-20 wt.% of an anionic surface active agent, (b) 0.01-15 wt.% of cationic surface active agent, (c) 0.1-30 wt.% of nonionic surface active agent, and (d) 0.5-30 wt.% of a glycol ether based solvent. The composition may further contain 1-20 wt.% of an organic builder. The composition, since the scum to occur in the reaction between the ingredients (a) and (b) inhibits foaming, exhibits an excellent antifoaming capability despite it contains no silicone based antifoaming agent.
