INK JET PRINTING SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printing sheet being a micro-coating type ink jet printing sheet, generating no blur irregularity of ink, excellent in ink absorbability, imparting a printed image high in density and sharpness, reducing the deformation of a dot and enabling double-side printing. SOLUTION: In the ink jet printing sheet wherein printing surfaces are provided on both surfaces of raw paper, the raw paper is neutral paper containing a filler and a neutral internal size agent and the basis weight of a product after the coating of the raw paper is 100-250 g/m2 and Stockigt sizing degree of the product is 130-190 sec and the printing surface of the printing sheet is coated with fine particulate inorganic pigment of a composition based on alumina along the surfaces of the pulp fibers in an entangled state of the surface of the raw paper and the shape of the surface coated pulp fibers can be visually confirmed by a scanning electron microscope and the surface coating form of the pulp fibers is an almost perfectly coated state.
